HOJICHA CREAM SODA
Tea soda is arguably the most refreshing way to drink your tea! This is a tea-infused version of a classic cream soda featuring our Hojicha tea infused with real vanilla bean, brown sugar, and topped with seltzer. You can substitute any tea with this recipe (Jasmine Green and Brandy Oolong also make great cream soda)
INGREDIENTS:
Hojicha Tea, Brown Sugar, Vanilla Bean, Seltzer, Ice
RECIPE:
Fill a 10-12oz glass with ice
Add 2 oz. Hojicha tea syrup
Top with seltzer
Stir gently + Sip
HOJICHA CREAM TEA SYRUP
Steep 1 tbsp Hojicha tea in 8oz water (190)˚ for 2 min. Strain leaves out.
Pour tea into small pot on stove and bring to a boil
Add 1 cup brown sugar + stir until dissolved
Turn off heat + Add one split vanilla bean pod (or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract)
Let cool and pour syrup with vanilla bean into a jar
Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks! Tea soda for days.
