A soothing white tea that tastes like peaches and cream. Deeply relaxing and also almost impossible to oversteep - an easy breezy tea for summer days, with a long lasting sweetness. Makes for a perfect cold tea too.

White teas are the least processed type of tea, resulting in the highest levels of L-theanine- a powerful amino acid found in the tea plant that works in tandem with caffeine to improve alertness but also induce calm. While low amounts of caffeine in white tea provides some stimulation, L-theanine promotes feelings of relaxation.

Picked the first week of March from the tender buds of the "Da Bai Hao" varietal tea trees. Tea is picked -> lightly wilted -> pan-fried briefly at a low temperature -> allowed to dry naturally.
